Full-Time Enrollment

English Language Study

Join the IEP as a full-time student without conditional admission to a degree program.

Pathway Program

Eligible conditionally admitted undergraduate students who want to earn 4-7 credits while in the IEP are invited to apply.

Undergraduate Conditional Admission

Apply to an undergraduate degree program at NC State to receive conditional admission and join the IEP.

Graduate Conditional Admission

Apply to a graduate degree program at NC State to receive conditional admission and join the IEP.

Part-Time Enrollment

Take up to 16 hours/week of IEP classes.

Visiting Scholar Courses

Register for the Conversation Skills and Academic Writing Skills courses that are available to NC State Visiting Scholars.

Evening/Weekend Courses

5-week English language courses for non-native English speakers in the Raleigh-Durham area are offered periodically throughout the year.

Custom Programs

The IEP can create special, customized programs for businesses, organizations, and government sponsors.
