New Mind University Performance Program (UPP)

New Mind Education has been an official partner of North Carolina State University since 2010. UPP is a supplementary enrichment and advisory program designed to support first-year international students at NC State, including IEP students, undergraduate and graduate students. UPP provides weekly 1-on-1 advising, first-year seminars, volunteer opportunities, extracurricular activities, and field trips to achieve students’ holistic success. NC Wesleyan College

The Intensive English Program at NC State University has partnered with NC Wesleyan College to help students meet the college’s English proficiency requirements. 

  • Students who are conditionally admitted by NC Wesleyan will be required to successfully complete Level 5 of the NC State IEP or higher to fulfill the college’s English language requirement.
  • Current NC State IEP students who successfully complete Level 5 of the NC State IEP will receive recognition that they have met the English requirement to attend NC Wesleyan if they choose to apply.

Both conditionally-admitted NC Wesleyan students and NC State IEP students who are admitted to NC Wesleyan are eligible to receive annual scholarships in the amount of $25,000.  This includes parking and books. Students will be required to maintain a minimum GPA and meet other university requirements.
