full-Time Enrollment

English Language Study

Join the IEP as a full-time student without conditional admission to a degree program.

Pathway Program

Eligible conditionally admitted undergraduate students who want to earn 4-7 credits while in the IEP are invited to apply.

Undergraduate Conditional Admission

Apply to an undergraduate degree program at NC State to receive conditional admission and join the IEP.

Visiting Scholar Courses

Register for the Conversation Skills and Academic Writing Skills courses that are available to NC State Visiting Scholars.

The IEP offers our local community members in-person and online English language courses. These courses are designed for students with beginning, intermediate, and advanced English proficiency.
