New Mind Education

• New Mind Education has been a strategic partner of North Carolina State University since 2010. In each semester of the last 15 years. the Intensive English Program at NC State has welcomed students participating in New Mind’s University Performance Program (UPP). In this program, UPP students receive New Mind’s full array of support services from enrollment through their first year at US universities.

North Carolina Wesleyan College

The Intensive English Program (IEP) at NC State University has partnered with NC Wesleyan College to help students meet the college’s English proficiency requirements. There are two admissions avenues open to international students:

• Students can apply directly to NC Wesleyan. If they are conditionally admitted by NC Wesleyan, they will be required to successfully complete Level 5 of the IEP at NC State to fulfill the college’s English language requirement.
• Current IEP students who successfully complete Level 5 will receive recognition that they have met the English requirement to attend NC Wesleyan if they choose to apply.

Both conditionally-admitted NC Wesleyan students and IEP students who are admitted to NC Wesleyan are eligible to receive annual scholarships in the amount of $25,000.  This includes parking and textbooks. Students will be required to maintain a minimum GPA and meet other university requirements.
