Brandie Pavon has been teaching English to international students in higher education for more than a decade. After teaching her first class in 2010, she knew she had found her calling in life. She has taught in Illinois (Chicago), Georgia, North Carolina, and in Asuncion, Paraguay. She enjoys teaching all skills and levels, and takes delight in watching her students succeed. Outside the classroom, Brandie has developed and taught an American Culture course, assisted with the expansion of an English program for a non-profit in Chicago, and has had the joy of helping 16 students through the naturalization process to receive their US citizenship. During her free time, Brandie enjoys exploring new places with her husband and dog, trying local restaurants, and browsing used book stores.
