IEP Online Evening ESL Courses – Dates and Costs
The IEP’s 5-week English language courses are offered twice each semester. Evening ESL courses are ONLINE. See the schedule for each class in the table below.

Important dates for the Fall 2024 semester are:

Costs
Each of our online evening courses is taught by degreed professional instructors with years of experience teaching with the Intensive English Program at NC State. Our evening ESL courses offer 10 total hours of English language instruction. You will have the opportunity to interact – IN ENGLISH – with international members of the Triangle area from the comfort of your home. Students must have access to a PC, laptop, or tablet equipped with a camera and microphone.

Additional Costs
- Some courses require the purchase of a textbook. See the course registration pages for the textbook title and estimated cost.
Notes
- Payable by credit card or interdepartmental transfer only.
- All withdrawals will be charged a $20 cancellation fee.
- A minimum number of students is required to run each course. If the minimum is not met, course fees will be refunded.
- During adverse weather events and other emergency conditions when the University’s schedule is altered, course participants will be notified by their instructor or the IEP of any change to the course schedule. All efforts will be made to reschedule the class session.
